About Electric Paint

About the Light Up Board

The Light Up Board is the heart of the Electric Paint Lamp Kit. It works straight out of the box, is powered by USB and requires no programming or special tools. The board’s six bright LEDs and three different modes provide the light for your lamps and the super easy connector system means that you can create lamps on any sheet material.

Technical details

Electric Paint

• Dries at room temperature in 10-15 minutes
• Must be fully dry to work
• Easily removable with soap and water
• Seal with acrylic paint or spray varnish
• Can last years if treated properly and kept dry
• Works on: paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, glass, plaster, some rubbers, textiles, etc…


Precautions of use:
Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an adult whilst using this product. This board may be powered over USB, by an approved 3.7V Lithium Polymer cell or a 3.0~5.5V DC power supply. Observe battery polarity markings carefully before use. Do not use on conductive/met-­-al surfaces as this may short circuit the board and damage it. Bare Conductive takes no for external circuitry connected to this board.

Light Up Board Modes

The Light Up Board can be set to 6 different modes. Three of the modes are used in the Electric Paint Lamp Kit to create a Touch, Dimmer, and Proximity lamp. But the Light Up Board comes pre-programmed with three additional modes for you to explore. Below we explain what these are and how to set the board for each mode.
